How will you fit into the Triple 1 Group?
We are currently seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Mechanical Assembly Technicians based in Northampton, UK. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of face mask production including quality assurance control of the finished masks which must meet quality and output requirements.
Salary
£30k per annum
Responsibilities and Duties
- Mechanical assembly and fitting
- Mechanical and tool maintenance
- Maintaining and continuously improving written instructions
- Quality control and assurance
- Stock control
- Maintenance and improvement of internal documentation and systems
- Health and safety
- Compliance to quality standards
- Product Packaging
What Skills and Experience Will You Have?
- BEng/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Previous proven experience in the field of Instrumentation and Electronics
- Previous hands on experience in machine operations
- Can confidently and safely use a range of hand and power tools
- Ability to use basic metalworking tools– e.g. Measuring devices, Drills
- Working knowledge of materials used in mechanical assembly
- High level of practical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Some experience of pneumatics would be an advantage
- Self-motivated and confident individual
- Practical and highly adaptable
- A problem solver with great organizational skills
- Communication, both verbal and written
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Problem solving
- Excellent knowledge of software such as Microsoft
- Schedule planning

Your average working day?
- Prepare and replenish raw materials for mask production
- Load / unload materials and debugging of machine operations.
- Visually inspect all finished goods
- Trouble shooting and ensure all incidents are reported to the production team lead
- Reporting of any abnormal safety and quality problems.
- Updating and working with software such as Microsoft
- Mechanical and tool maintenance
