Salary: £9.25 per hour (Mon – Fri) / £10.50 per hour (Sat) / £12.00 per hour (Sun)
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Triple 1 Group are currently recruiting for Chef/Kitchen staff to work within our Long Buckby, Northampton Depot.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
- Cleaning and tidying ‘’clean as you go policy’’
- Quality control
- Ensure Health and Safety policies are adhered to
- Recording food temperatures
- Preparing reports
- Design menus and recipes
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Be physical fit and happy to carry out general cooking duties
- Able to work both independently and within a team and to strict deadlines
- Excelled verbal communication skills
- Be hardworking, reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Make sandwiches and preparing simple hot food for staff
A mature attitude, reliability and the ability to work on own initiative are essential.
Qualifications:
- Food qualification
- Health & Safety food preparation certification
Shift schedule:
Mornings are 6am – 2pm
Evenings are 2pm – 10pm
We also offer a clock in/clock out system and can accommodate working hours to suit individual needs. For this option, please mention this during your interview.
